IZWebFileManager does not support UNC path. But you can map remote folder as virtual folder in application with IIS and access it in regular way.

Greetings Igor, thanks for the link, but my question was focused on the following: If you have already created the virtual directory that points to the file directory, how should be rootDirectory.DirectoryPath = "" property set?

If you mapped you file directory as virtual in web application, you should have an access to it by url: http(s)://<host>/<alias of mapped directory>/
where <alias of mapped directory> is the name you configured during mapping.

in such case you can refer to this directory using application relative path rootDirectory.DirectoryPath = "~/<alias of mapped directory>"

Hi Igor I did what you suggested. I created the virtual directory and set the permissions. Also modified the VS2005.aspx from the demo app but it throws an error. Also I can browse de virtual directory through the browser.

<iz:FileManager ID="FileManager1" runat="server" SkinId="VS2005" Height="400px" Width="600">
        <RootDirectories>
              <iz:RootDirectory DirectoryPath="~/Reports" Text="Reports" />
        </RootDirectories>
</iz:FileManager>

I'm receiving the following:

Event code: 4010 / Event message: An unhandled security exception has occurred.
