Compiling native DLLs

Hi,

I'm trying to compile the native DLLs of izpack via:
mvn package -DbuildDLL=true
but I get a lot of errors and such.

Could anyone point me to some documentation on how to get started with compiling the native code of izpack?

Also, Maven 3.5.0 gives lots of warnings about deprecated stuff being used.

Would like to use Visual Studio Community 2017 for this.
Anyone can document/fix this for usage with Visual Studio Community 2017?

@Frank: Just in case: Are there any problem with the current binary DLLs?
