Hello everyone,

we are using IzPack as installer framework in version 5.0.0-beta11 for our current project.

Could you please tell me when we can expect a stable 5.0.* version of IzPack as we cannot use a beta-version for the completion of our project.

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Robert Glaser

Hi Robert,

it would be fine to have a schedule, but there are neither enough active developers and contributors nor spare time to fix remaining bugs to do such an estimation at the moment.

There is a few issues open that should be fixed for a final release and first I'd prefer to push a RC to the wild.

Nevertheless the current rc1 snapshots are already stable for most purposes, used also in production environments. You can see in Jira what is known and open.

René

Hi Rene,

thank you for the quick reply. We will try 5.0.0-rc1.

Robert

Could you drop the -SNAPSHOT for 5.0.0-rc1 (after pulling #118)?
