Pleasehelp, my camera driver, is gone. When I went to Join meeting, which we have done before, I kept getting a message saying, We can't find your camera, with error code 0xA00F4244. I looked up ways to fix the camera, realizing there wasn't one anymore. What do I do now? How to download or install camera driver?

I have gone through and installed, and reinstalled the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition to the most recent version, and to older versions, and continually run into troubles with Bluescreens upon startup. After getting the bluescreen, the auto-restart restores functionality of the laptop, but when I try to launch the AMD Software again, I am greeted with this message (regardless of version):

The version of AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition you have launched is not compatible with your currently installed graphics driver. Please check your system for other versions of AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition that may currently be installed. A Factory reset of your AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition installation is recommended. I have reinstalled with a factory reset numerous times now, and upon the installation can launch and use the software. However, after a restart of the computer, the software becomes unavailable and gives me this error message again.

Additionally, I would like to mention that I have no overclocking ability on the 6500M GPU, and I am unsure as to whether this processor is locked or if I am running into an error. I am wondering if this is a software/driver issue, and if this may be hammered out after future releases, or if there is something else going on. I've sent in a few bug reports, so I suppose we'll see.

So, I have uninstalled all the audio drivers except the microphone in the sound video, and game controllers and I restart the laptop and it worked (without downloading the file) but I hope it don't stop working because it happened before, and it worked for some time then it stopped working if it happens then I will let you know.

Everything was working fine without downloading the file that u gave me. but I saw that there are some windows updates of Realtek so once i updated them the audio stopped working and whenever I restart my laptop it works for like sometime then it stopped and it is showing the audio speaker but no sound i can also see the Realtek Driver in Device manager but still no sound and also there are 2 updates left which is giving an error and not installing I will send you the screenshot.

Touchpad not working and there's no speaker. If I connect any earbuds, it works but otherwise there's no sound from speakers. About the touchpad, I tried to on/off with FN key but still doesn't work. When I try to update drivers with hp website

One potential solution is to deinstall the HP-provided Audio Driver and let it default to the Windows fallback driver.

This fixes the headphones but now the speakers exhibit problems. Speakers sound duller, quiter and sometimes emit a faint electrical buzzing noise (changing frequency with system load..). Not optimal..

Turning off the Audio Preset and Advanced EQ Control in the B&O Audio Control Software for the speakers profile fixes the headphone issue but in turn makes the speakers perform poor again.

(Changing the settings sometimes breaks the driver even more. Speakers started to play audio even though headphones were plugged in and Headphones were selected as Output Device under Windows Audio Settings. Very confusing and jarring)

After I installed Windows 10 on my new HP Victus (had to install Windows 10 because Windows 11 doesn't support my HP printer), the audio driver is missing. Tried to look for drivers on the HP website but the webpage keeps crashing and throws a 404 error.

Kindly help and don't make me regret switching from Dell !

I can tell you that even if the support pages were working (there seems to be a widespread issue with that right now), that HP only supports the 15-fa0xxx and 15-fa1xxx model series for W11, so there wouldn't be any W10 drivers available.

I've installed Ubuntu 22 on a HP Victus laptop. The Microsoft Edge browser will not render properly. Both Brave and Firefox render properly. I use Edge on a couple of other Ubuntu 22 systems with no problem, but on different hardware.

I work simultaneously with Windows, Ubuntu and Fedora in different computers. It has called my attention your question because one of mine is the same PC as yours and that problem (mainly) with Edge also started a few days ago after an update. At this time you may notice that behaviour has been solved, it is a software issue.That has nothing to do with your gpu or drivers, it has been a bug in version 120.0.xxxx on Linux browsers based on Chromium and for some reason it affected much more Microsoft Edge; pages render like empty (some DOM objects went away).Edge problem solved rolling back to version 119.0.xxx or moving to microsoft-edge-beta channel to get 121.0.xxx and everything looks Ok. I notice similar behaviour in other chromium based browsers but affecting just a few page components, sometimes is not noticeable.

This is wrong, likely due a deep misunderstanding of how hybrid graphics work. With hybrid systems it's one or the other for ALL outputs. And, very likely, you're using the dGPU all the time (without even noticing it) with the "bad" driver.

Your problem, with 99.9% certainty, stems from using the open-source, community, unofficial driver for Nvidia - nouveau - for a new(ish) card, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti. So, yes, a driver problem. At the time of this writing Nvidia recommends the 535.x branch for your card. You can easily install this driver version directly from the Ubuntu repositories using the Additional Drivers tool.

With the proper Nvidia driver (proprietary) installed you should be able to toggle iGPU/dGPU easily using the Nvidia X Server Settings tool (reboot usually required; if not do it anyway and don't use the "auto-detect" profile yet because it isn't stable; Linux drivers tend to lag behind its Windows counterpart). You'll be selecting between the AMD Radeon Vega iGPU - because you mentioned amdgpu you must have the HP Victus with AMD Ryzen + Nvidia - and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti dGPU.

I have a HP 16-e0003np Laptop and while on Kubuntu 20.04.3 LTS distro I have no HDMI output on when I input xrandr on console. So I check which driver i had to install with ubuntu-drivers devices and I got the following output:

So I installed the 470 driver and when I tried to boot linux it would hang. I sudo apt purge nvidia* in tty with CTRL + ALT + F2 to be able to boot again. I did the same thing with 460 driver. I also set nomodeset to 0 on both drivers installed. I cant seem to be able to get the nvidia drivers installed. My kernel version is 5.11.0-37-generic.
