Dear Friends,
Its been a long time since you received any update from IRADAH. However, it should not mean that IRADAH has remained dormant. Actually it was the large amount of work that resulted in delays in compiling any update information for all of you. We will be sharing all the information in bits and pieces in the coming days.
Web Presence
First of all, we would like to inform you all that we are working on IRADAH website. It is already online, but we have not been able to put all the relevant information on the website. However, as the technical work has been completed, and we are testing it these days, we can assure you that every thing would be online soon. However, IRADAH has created its account on Facebook, you people can join us there. You can search for IRADAH Chakwal on facebook.
Outreach Camps
IRADAH has held 11 outreach camps in the year 2009. IRADAH succeeded to register 2454 new disabled persons through these camps. Out of these, more than 1000 were children, 625 women, and 814 men.The newly registered people have been provided various kinds of support as per their needs. The support includes physiotherapy services, psychological counselling, medicine, wheelchairs, tricycles, crutches, and referral to other institutions.
We are thankful to all of our friends and supporters for carrying out these activities successfully. We especially thank those who contributed financially, and enabled us to provide wheelchairs and tricycles to needy people. IRADAH would get back to you whenever there is a need.
