Intercultural meeting “Power of culture and photos”, November 2010

Belogradchik, Bulgaria

Project summary

In this project we will welcome young people, youth workers, volunteers of youth organizations NGOs, who are interested in and open towards gaining experience in contact with various cultures and communicating with people from different countries.
We will discuss tolerance, understanding, history, cultural diversity, discrimination in European and Mediterranean regions. Apart from focusing on the European and Mediterranean countries, languages and cultures, this project will also support the young people's active citizenship, solidarity and tolerance and encourage them to take an active role in influencing the future of the European Union. The project is based on international partnerships and involves active participation of young people and their awareness of different social and cultural realities- they will learn from each other and reinforce their feelings of being peaceful and understand each other in the big world.
We will use the influence of media with photography and media tools and will present photo exhibitions in Bulgaria and this will support youth collaboration in the youth field between different countries.

Aim of the project
developing knowledge on history and culture and at the same time working on encouraging active citizenship, solidarity and tolerance, using the influence of photography and media.

Main themes

Intercultural dialogue, cultural diversity, art and culture, history

Accommodation

Participants will be hosted in a big guest house in the small but attractive touristic town of Belogradchik

Travel reimbursement
70% of your travel cost will be reimbursed when you arrive to Bulgaria. What we need would be: copy of your ticket, original invoice of the tickets, boarding cards, train or bus tickets, copy of your passport

Please send urgently PART-3 via Fax and then send the original form to us! You could only be a partner in the project if we have the original form of PART 3!
