Details of the event: India for Safe Food is a campaign for change amongst Indian farmers, consumers and the government to ensure that all Indians have access to safe food, devoid of toxic substances. This movement is being spearheaded by ASHA (Alliance for Sustainable & Holistic Agriculture), an informal network of hundreds of organizations and individuals across twenty states of India.

As part of the campaign, Bicycle ride is held as an awareness generation event on Safe Food. This ride is done in two directions

1) 1st ride will begin from Sanjevayya Park to Peoples' plaza and vice-verse, covering about 7 KMs. 

2) 2nd ride will start soon after the first ride, from Sanjeevayya park to Enabavi village, an organic village, and where the crops are grown without any Chemical Fertilizers and Pesticides usage. The distance is 92.7 KMs.Everyone who is interested to take part of the event are welcome, and the interested are requested to register at www.indiaforsafefood.in website.
