Bible tells us "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."(2 Chronicles 7:14)

For the last 2000 years, its the cry of many missionaries, mission movements and God's children, to see this nation be touched by love of God. Many missionaries from across the world spend their entire life here and its continuing now also. They stood in the gap and interceded for this nation.

Our nation is going through a critical phase now, especially mission movements working in Northern parts. Opposition is increasing, there are systematic efforts to create atmosphere of fear among new believers, missionaries are not allowed to enter villages even to visit believers houses,believers are being threatened and in every way enemy is trying to prevent gospel to reach the unreached. Fringe elements and fanatic groups are putting all their efforts to create communal polarisation and destroy secular fabric of this nation.

And prayer is the only strategy which works in these situations.

With this in mind, FMPB(Friends Missionary Prayer Band) is raising a movement of 1000 hours of continuous prayer for our nation. The only objective is to plead before God for this beautiful nation, which is our birth place. This prayer movement started from 10th February and continue  till 23rd March 2016 and prayers are happening in various parts of this country.

As believers working in corporate world, we also have a part to do in this movement. We request you to spare 30 minutes or one hour,only to pray for our nation.

This time we are allotted two saturdays for prayer. You can choose one day or both days

Date allotted to us : April 6 Thursday  2017

Time : 30 minutes or one hour between 12 AM of Wednesday night till 12 AM Thursday night. 

Once you acknowledge your willingness to be part of this prayer movement, we will let you know your time slot or if you wish to pray on a particular time slot, please mention that.

Venue : The place where you feel comfortable(your house/room etc). Its between you and God and nothing else.

If you wish to be part of this historical prayer movement, please reply to this mail with your mobile number and any preferred time. If you know any of your friends who are willing to part of this, forward this mail to them also.

Once you acknowledge your willingness,we will mail you the prayer bulletin , which list out some of the we are facing as a nation and issues which requires prayer from mission point of view. You can add more. And also will inform you about your time slot of prayer.
