Boldness for the Righteous from the
Lord

Deu 31:6 (KJV)

Be strong and of a
good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them:
 for the LORD
thy God, He it is that doth go with thee;
He will not fail
thee, nor forsake thee.

Bold
1. Daring; courageous; brave; intrepid;
fearless; confident
2. Requiring courage in the execution;
executed with spirit or boldness; planned with courage and spirit; as a bold
enterprise.

Eph
3:8-12 (KJV)
Unto me, who am less than the
least of all saints, is this grace given,
that I should preach among the
Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
 (9) And to make all
men see what is the fellowship of the mystery,
which from the beginning of the
world hath been hid in God,
who created all things by Jesus
Christ: (
10) To the intent that now unto
the principalities and powers in heavenly places
might be known by the church the
manifold wisdom of God,
(11) According to the eternal
purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
(12) In whom we have boldness and
access with confidence by the faith of him.

Mark 16:15-16
(KJV)
And he (Jesus) said unto them,
Go ye into all the world,
and preach the gospel to every
creature.
{16} He that believeth and
is baptized shall be saved;
 but he that believeth not
shall be damned.

Heb
10:19-24 (KJV)
Having therefore, brethren,
boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
(20) By a new and living way,
which he hath consecrated for us,
through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
(21) And having an high
priest over the house of God;
(22) Let us draw near with a true
heart in full assurance of faith,
having our hearts sprinkled from
an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
 (23) Let us hold fast the
profession of our faith without wavering;
 (for he is faithful
that promised;)
(24) And let us consider one
another to provoke unto love and to good
works:

Prov 28:1
(KJV)
The wicked flee when no man
pursueth:
 but the righteous are bold
as a lion.

Psa 27:1-5
(KJV)
A Psalm of David. The LORD
is my light and my salvation;
 whom shall I fear?
the LORD is the strength of
my life;
of whom shall I be
afraid?
 {2} When the wicked,
even mine enemies and my foes,
came upon me to eat up my flesh,
they stumbled and fell.
{3} Though an host should
encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear:
though war should rise against
me,
 in this will I be
confident.
 {4} One thing
have I desired of the LORD,
that will I seek after;
that I may dwell in the house of
the LORD all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the LORD,
and to inquire in his temple.
{5} For in the time of
trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion:
in the secret of his tabernacle
shall he hide me;
he shall set me up upon a
rock.

Psa 112:5-10
(KJV)
A good man showeth favour, and
lendeth:
he will guide his affairs with
discretion.
{6} Surely he shall not be
moved for ever:
the righteous shall be in
everlasting remembrance.
{7} He shall not be afraid
of evil tidings:
his heart is fixed, trusting in
the LORD.
{8} His heart is
established, he shall not be afraid,
until he see his desire
upon his enemies.
 {9} He hath
dispersed, he hath given to the poor;
his righteousness endureth for
ever;
his horn shall be exalted with
honour.

{10} The wicked shall see
it, and be grieved;
 he shall gnash with his
teeth, and melt away:
 the desire of the wicked
shall perish.

Isa 26:3-10
(KJV)
Thou wilt keep him in
perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed
on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
{4} Trust ye in the LORD
for ever:
for in the LORD JEHOVAH is
everlasting strength:
{5} For he bringeth down
them that dwell on high;
the lofty city, he layeth it low;
he layeth it low, even to
the ground;
he bringeth it even to the
dust.
{6} The foot shall tread it
down,
 even the feet of the
poor, and the steps of the needy.
{7} The way of the just
is uprightness:
 thou, most upright, dost
weigh the path of the just.
 {8} Yea, in the way
of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee;
the desire of our soul
is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.
 {9} With my soul have
I desired thee in the night;
yea, with my spirit within me will
I seek thee early:
for when thy judgments are
in the earth,
the inhabitants of the world will
learn righteousness.

{10} Let(ie. even
if) favour be showed to the wicked,
yet will he not learn
righteousness:
in the land of uprightness will he
deal unjustly,
and will not behold the majesty of
the LORD.

Dan 3:15-18
(KJV)
Now if ye be ready that at what
time
ye hear the sound of the cornet,
flute, harp, sackbut,
 psaltery, and dulcimer, and
all kinds of music,
ye fall down and worship the image
which I have made; well:
but if ye worship not, ye shall be
cast the same hour
 into the midst of a burning
fiery furnace;
and who is that God that
shall deliver you out of my hands?
 {16} Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king,
 O Nebuchadnezzar,
we are not careful to
{Heb=there is no need to}answer thee in this matter.
{17} If it be so,
our God whom we serve is able
to deliver us from the burning
fiery furnace,
 and he will deliver us
out of thine hand, O king.
 {18} But if not, be
it known unto thee, O king,
 that we will not serve thy
gods,
nor worship the golden image which
thou hast set up.

Acts 4:10-13
(KJV)
 Be it known unto you all,
and to all the people of Israel,
that by the name of Jesus Christ
of Nazareth,
whom ye crucified, whom God raised
from the dead,
even by him doth this man
stand here before you whole.
{11} This is the stone
which was set at nought of you builders,
which is become the head of the
corner.
{12} Neither is there
salvation in any other:
for there is none other name under
heaven given among men,
whereby we must be saved.
{13} Now when they saw the
boldness of Peter and John,
and perceived that they were
unlearned and ignorant men,
 they marvelled; and they
took knowledge of them,
that they had been with
Jesus.

Acts 5:25-29
(KJV)
  Then came one and told
them, saying,
 Behold, the men whom ye put
in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.
{26} Then went the captain with
the officers, and brought them without violence:
 for they feared the people,
lest they should have been stoned.
{27} And when they had brought
them, they set them before the council:
and the high priest asked them,
{28} Saying,
 Did not we straitly command
you that ye should not teach in this name?
and, behold, ye have filled
Jerusalem with your doctrine,
and intend to bring this man's
blood upon us.
{29} Then Peter and the other
apostles answered and said,
We ought to obey God rather than
men.

Acts 14:1-3
(KJV)
 And it came to pass in
Iconium,
that they went both together into
the synagogue of the Jews, and so
spake,
 that a great multitude both
of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.
{2} But the unbelieving
Jews stirred up the Gentiles,
and made their minds evil affected
against the brethren.
{3} Long time therefore
abode they speaking boldly in the Lord,
which gave testimony unto the word
of his grace,
and granted signs and wonders to
be done by their hands.

1 Th 2:1-2
(KJV)
 For yourselves, brethren,
know our entrance in unto you,
that it was not in
vain:
 {2} But even after
that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated,
as ye know, at Philippi,
we were bold in our God to speak
unto you the gospel of God
 with much
contention.

Jer 1:4-10
(KJV)
Then the word of the LORD came
unto me, saying,
{5} Before I formed thee in
the belly I knew thee;
and before thou camest forth out
of the womb I sanctified thee,
and I ordained thee a
prophet unto the nations.
 {6} Then said I, Ah,
Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
{7} But the LORD said unto
me, Say not, I am a child:
 for thou shalt go to all
that I shall send thee,
and whatsoever I command thee thou
shalt speak.
 {8} Be not afraid of
their faces:
for I am with thee to
deliver thee, saith the LORD.
{9} Then the LORD put forth
his hand, and touched my mouth.
And the LORD said unto me,
Behold, I have put my words in thy
mouth.
{10} See, I have this day
set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms,
 to root out, and to pull
down,
and to destroy, and to throw down,
to build, and to
plant.

Acts 5:27-29
(KJV)
 And when they had brought
them, they set them before the council:
and the high priest asked them,
{28} Saying,
Did not we straitly command you
that ye should not teach in this name?
and, behold, ye have filled
Jerusalem with your doctrine,
and intend to bring this man's
blood upon us.
 {29} Then Peter and
the other apostles answered and said,
We ought to obey God rather than
men.

Mat 28:19-20
(KJV)
Go ye therefore, and teach all
nations,
baptizing them in the name of the
Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
 {20} Teaching them to
observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
and, lo, I am with you alway,
even unto the end of the
world. Amen.

Heb
4:14-16 (KJV)
Seeing then that we have a great
high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God,
let us hold fast our
profession.
 (15) For we have not an high
priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our
infirmities;
 but was in all points
tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
 (16) Let us therefore come
boldly unto the throne of grace,
that we may obtain mercy, and find
grace to help in time of need.
