IxDA Toronto is happy to announce our next event, a "Speed Mentoring"
night on August 6th at The Rhino. All are welcome to come for a pint
and chat, but only those registered will be able to take part in the
night's activity.

IxDA Toronto Mentoring Meetup – August 6th at the Rhino

Looking for UX veteran who can give you advice? Want to expand your
network by taking on a mentee?
IxDA Toronto is holding its first Mentoring Meetup on August 6th at
the Rhino. It’s like speed dating, but for UX professionals.
Chat with several potential matches and pursue a mentoring
relationship with the mentor/mentee who seems like the best fit. Each
potential mentor and mentee will have a short conversation and then
switch so that you get a chance to talk to everybody. If you don't
meet the right person, that's okay, just have a good time talking to
great people.

For this event to happen we need a minimum number of mentors and
mentees! For the night, please pick which category you're in--in
other words, please don't register as both a mentor AND a mentee.
This doesn't mean you can't be a mentor or get a mentor at some point,
it's just to make the event work.

Mentors: Expand your network, learn by teaching, help build the next
generation of great designers!
Mentees: Get valuable advice from seasoned professionals, build your
network, find somebody to guide your through entering a new career
