IxDA Fundraising Drive, and our new planning committee!

Hi all,

The IxDA is doing its yearly fundraising drive over the next few days.

If you've appreciated the events you've been to over the past year or
so, please consider contributing. The money raised is going to pay for
a huge IxDA.org website revamp, which includes really important local
groups functionality.

That means IxDA Toronto could soon have a real website (yay!) with a
real rsvp tool (yay!) and a ton of other features. (Full details about

We need your help to do this! There are going to be drawings for
prizes each and every day, for some extra fun. We hope you'll
consider. We know times are tough, but no amount is too little.

Announcing our new planning committee!

Iain Lowe and Jeff Kraemer have been extremely dedicated in informally
supporting IxDA Toronto over the past year. When they volunteered to
officially join our planning committee, we were thrilled! Thanks guys,
we're happy to have you!

They'll be helping us on our next event, a mentor-mentee speed
'dating' night. Details still need to be hammered out, but we're
hoping for early July. Watch your inbox, and start thinking about
whether you'd like to join in!
