Yea, i could do this @ noon today. I've never used skype before but
i assume it's pretty simple.

Mark, Fernando, Nina + i have decided to reduce the colors of the
cube in this instance of the project to 1 color for the sake of
simplicity + to achieve the project faster + have more time to test.
we will create a purple glow w/18 red + blue LEDs. they wil be
arranged on 4 sides of the internal support structure that the wii
mote sits on.

in terms of the MAX/MSP patch we can use all LEDs as 1 rather than
treating the red + the blue separately but we need to determine how
the 9 spells will be represented by 9 diff patterns/intensities.

what do u think?

Sounds good. So if we are treating the LED's as just one purple glow
then the only variable would be brightness. So how about specific
blinking patterns that represent each spell? The arduino has 256
levels of brightness and ascii characters are made up of 256
integers, so if the blinking pattern can be a direct translation of
the name of the spell into ascii values. For example 48R4C4D48R4
(data disappear) = 52 56 82 52 67 52 68 52 56 82 52.

....?
