Woo-hoo at today's Ultimate Air in Pittsburgh, Trinity went 13' 6"!  We qualified for the Junior finals and came out with a 2nd place.  Today we came home with a medal and a "Loopie" toy!

I can't say enough about how friendly the folks are at Ultimate Air.  They were a great place to start!  The competitors were all friendly and cheered for everyone.  I can't tell you how many people congratulated us on our jump.  I even managed to talk a few people into joining us in Easton, Maryland in November.  :)  Ultimate Air said that they are going to be out East quite a bit in 2008 (NY, MD, and VA).  They also said that beginning in 2008 they are hooking up with UKC and offering titles in Dock Diving.  I haven't had the opportunity to check out either website for details.

Anyway, I'd say that we're hooked.  I told Milt (owner) that I was about to become a "groupie".....  BTW, the top dog in the Country was here this weekend.  A GSP who jumped 26' 9" on his final jump!

Sara is such a sweetheart! She helped out with SplashDogs in Columbus!
I Heard She got married this year. Milt used to play Pro Baseball, I
think with the Tigers.
I am Glad you had such a positive experience!

Was the GSP that was there a dog names Seven?  He is a big jumper, but the current top dog in the country is a dog named Country with a jump of 27'10", he also holds the world record for EV at 7'10" which he broke at the Frederick, Md show that will be on the Outdoor Channel this Thursday.
I had the chance to see Seven jump at Cabela's in Hamburg, he is awesome and his owner is a nice guy. He may be the one to break Country's record!

It was Seven and his owner was super nice. They were saying that Seven won at the Purina event a short time ago, but perhaps it was "hype" for the crowd! :)

The jump titles do not transfer between companys.
Country jumps with Dockdogs.
Seven has the title with Ultimate Air Dogs
So I guess you are both right!

Yea Karen & Trin!!  That is AWESOME!!

Can't wait to see you guys at the MD event - we will have a BUNCH of IWS there!

My sister made a pattern for Dock Diving vests - we are going to try to get them made up for all the MD entries.  I ordered some green Lycra that looks sort of like swirly shamrock cammo combo!  (OK well, if you use your imagination!)

Hopefully we will have time to get them all done - but I need a head count on who will be going for sure.  And whether your dog needs a medium or large.  We will make 2 sizes unless anyone requests a size small.

So far, here is who I have going:
Clay, Janne, Fiona, Tango, Trin, Folly/Cara (maybe),
Also - I am going to check with Chris Bevillard and see if she is bringing Dexter.
Missy will be at the Sylvia Bishop seminar, so she won't be able to go.  And Elissa will have Gali at a Field Trial so he can't go.

Did I miss anyone?  (it is really early, yawn!)

It's on at 9 pm. I get it on Dish Network, channel 153. I don't know what cable companies have it. You can check on www.outdoorchannel.com, they also have a few clips of the last show on there.
