Hey, thanks for including me Cathy. Now, is DockDogs the only jumping
organization of it's kind? (you know like the AKC vs. UKC) Are they
only in a region a couple of times a year? Where / when is the next
closest event?

Thanks for the information. I'll be glad to enter Folly, for it. She thinks she is Peter Pan, and I can fly. I'll have to look up the photo to where she fly's.. Post it to the list the IWS  list. She isn't the normal leaper going off a deck. LOL! It's way up in the air and goes out for distance.

It sounds like she is a natural!
Otis jumps out but, does not get the height He needs for the big distances!
5 Different wave jumps in he same distance range earns the dog a title.  Otis has 2 towards his senior & 1 towards his junior title

Dock Dogs is the parent club. There are also regional/local clubs
affiliated with the parent club.
The parent or National club has distinct National events that are
seperate from regional club events.
www.dockdogs.com is the main site for dock dog national events. they
are closely associated with Cabelas outfitters and therefore if you
have a Cabelas near you,you have a better chance of getting an event.
I belong right now to puget sound dog dogs at
www.pugetsounddockdogs.org. it is in the Seattle area and Cascade dock
dogs is in the portland OR area.

I know there are a few others out and around the country, just not sure
what they are!

Key to remember: jumps at National club events count towards National
club titles. Jumps at Regional/local events do not count towards the
national title - only regional/local titles.... in order to get to the
national finals, your dog must be ranked in the national system.

p.s - a border collie from the northwest took 4th place at the
nationals with a Junior handler!!!!!

pps - Balloos jump this last weekend at the northwest club challenge
was 19'10"!!!!

Otis jumps were nationally measured.
