A wave is a round of two Jumps every one jumps once then gets a
measurement,&
Then They Line up & get a Second Jump The Highest jump is your
Qualifing score
It takes 4 or 5 waves to get a title. (in the same jump distance
range)
Otis jumps right at the break point between Jr. & Sr.
So I have scores in both classes I do Not Have a title!
I don't have that kinda Cash! We are just starting in the sport.
Otis has just jumped in 5 waves! Dock dog titles only count for Dock
dog titles
Splash dog kinda has the same division break down
Kind like a akc CH is not the same as a ukc CH .
I Love watching Otis So amped up about a Sport!
So When we finally earn a title that will be Fun
If I earn the Sr. title first, We can not go back down & earn a Jr
title too.
Then that is just his score.

Otis Jumps out, not up & Out so I doubt we will ever make Pro.
We do have a great time so I guess that is all that matters!.

Right Now the water is Very Cold so keep an eye out for "Dead Tail"
Otis got it This last time, so I ended up giving him asprin for a day
& a half.
The neoprene vest helps a Lot! I found Otis's for about $20

    Cause this will be outdoors. Later in the afternoon. I'll bring lots of blankets for the girls and me. Folly, jumps out and soars like she is flying.  I take we don't have an IWS team then. When I saw the 125.00 for the top dogs. That is a lot of money per day. This will be interesting next week though.  Where did you find the vest? But, it might be too late to order one now? Not unless they do a rush order.  What is dead tail?  None of my dogs ever had it. Not even over the years of having IWS since 1977.

 

  What was Otis, jump score again? 

 

Should I swap Folly, to Waves? Just let Cara, stay in her classes. Cause I don't know what she will do?

Dead tail is kinda like they pulled a muscle.

They do not wag their tail for a day or two.

Some dogs whimper when they sit on their tail.

aspirin seems to help, or it did help Otis.

His only lasted a day.

The amateur jump is a wave.

Otis has only jumped a little over 15 feet as his longest Jump.

Last week he was only jumping around 10 feet.

Other competitors said that dogs don't jump as far indoors.

At least I felt better.

The Pros Have Corporate sponsors so $125 a Day 

is not that big of a deal.

The top amateur Jumper gets to jump with the pros for free!

Since Folly has never jumped I would put Her in the amateur class.

If She loves it, She can jump with the Big Guns at a Later Date.

The vest was a Hogan it was at a surplus store out west
