Subject: Subject: IWPSS 2013
Dear IWPSS Registrants,
Several items regarding the 2013 Intl Workshop on Planning and Scheduling for Space.
1. No cancellation of the workshop due to sequestration (yet ;-)). IWPSS is a key meeting with material participation by numerous NASA and NASA related personnel.
2. The current schedule is posted on the web site (listed below). Keep posted as there are some requests for changes but we expect these to be minimal. http://www.regonline.com/builder/site/Default.aspx?EventID=1175169
3. We would like to get a head count of poster and software demonstration participants.
Therefore, if you would like to give a poster or demo (see the session Monday afternoon) please send an email to with the subject line "POSTER" "DEMO" or "POSTER + DEMO" and include in the body a 1 sentence description like "will demonstrate Rosetta scheduler on Icosahedral trajectory". If you would like to present
More than one poster or demo please indicate so in the body of the email.
We will have available easels and poster boards for poster session.
We will have available tables with power for software demonstrations.
While I believe there is networking available (Wifi) it is best to not depend on this for your software demonstration.

I will be demonstrating both software packages described in my talks. Note that the ASIMO demo is “hands-on”, allowing the participants to actually use the tool.
1) ASPEN planning software for “Mission Design Evaluation Using Automated Planning for High Resolution Imaging of Dynamic Surface Processes from the ISS”
2) ASIMO stowage software for “Automating Stowage Operations for the International Space Station”
