2009 IWLA conference registration available

Hello! I hope this message finds you enjoying the summer, although with the cool temps today, it's hard to believe that it's July 17th already. The new school year is right around the corner.

With that in mind, I just wanted to let you know that the registration information for our 2009 conference (Oct. 9-10) is now available on the IWLA website. The direct link to get it is: http://www.iwla.net/conf/regist.html. We are going to be at the Downtown Marriott in Des Moines this year. Rooms will be $104, and that rate is guaranteed for reservations made before September 14th.

Please note the registration deadlines. We are trying something different this year--to offer a TRUE early bird registration rate of $120, which is actually $5 less than last year's conference fee. The postmark deadline for that rate is September 9th. Registering by September 19th will cost you $130. Late or on-site will be $140. Your timely registration ensures a more accurate count for food/room space so that we can provide the best possible conference experience to everyone. We have not set up (yet) an on-line registration method, so you will need to print the form and mail it to BEA HOUSTON at the address provided on the bottom of the form.

If you are unable to attend the conference, please use the same form to renew your membership and pay your dues. Your continued support of our organization is much appreciated.

More information about the conference and what you can expect will be available in the fall issue of the Bulletin, and of course, at our website (www.iwla.net). I know that Dawn, Keeka, and the entire conference planning committee have been hard at work to put on another great event!

For those of you on Facebook, we are also posting information there now. Please considering adding IWLA as your friend. We have been trying to include useful links and posts there. Thanks to our 14 fans so far!!! We look forward to keeping in contact with everyone that way, too.
