I would like to add the iWebKit icon to the Home Screen of my ipod
Touch, however, when I review the instructions from apple and other
sites it states:

"Open the webpage and tap. Tap "Add to Home Screen" or tap on the
"+" icon at the bottom of the screen and choose Add to Home Screen.

The problem is that I am not getting the option of "Add to Home
Screen" when I go to http://m.iwebkit.net and choose "+" I only get
an option to "Add Bookmark" or Cancel.

What am I missing?

Thanks, Adrienne

The answer is very simple. You have an iPod touch on firmware 1.1.5
and you are required to buy the January upgrade pack to have that
possibility.

The other slution is at the same time the best solution: upgrade to
firmware 2.1.
You can either buy it in iTunes but you can find it everywhere on the
web. Just google it.

download it here:
http://pfd.apple.com/ProtectedAsset/iPod/061-5471.20080909.Plot5/iPod1,1_2.1_5F137_Restore.ipsw?downloadKey=1227207905_c617507c079cfc9a685144c5c84ac06b

next hold shift and click on "check for updates" in itunes. Then
select the downloaded file :)
