Hello,
thank you for your interest in the results of the Optique Project.
We assume that you already found the video demonstrating the installation and functionality of the Optique Platform [1]. Note that the Optique Platform is a specially branded version of Information Workbench
In the video you also find the installation steps.
In your case (as stated in the error message) you need to install the “optique” app first, which you also find in the app center.
Note that the Optique Platform is built on top of an older version of Information Workbench, e.g. in the video tutorial the 7.1 release was used. You can obtain the binary from [2] (after you logged in to the appcenter with your account).
Hope this helps,
Andreas

Betreff: Northwind Tutorial - app depends on optique-core
Hi everyone,
I've tried to follow the Northwind tutorial, downloading the latest version of Information Workbench and try to put the northwind.zip file into the apps folder but when I tried to install (load example data) into the workbench via Admin:Apps I got the status of INSTALLED_PARTIALLY_WITH_ERRORS and the messages "App depends on optique-core. Please install this App first and then try again". How can I resolve this?
And then after loading the data, what is the next step? I've plan to use this with the Virtual Query Formulator.
Thank you.
Sincerely yours,
Joshua Bezaleel Abednego
