APRIL BLOODSHOWERS PART ONE Friday night, April 3, 2009 The Bellevue Plaza 325 Bellevue Avenue Bellevue, IL Belltime: 8 pm; Doors Open: 7:15 pm Tickets: $15 ringside $10 bleachers IWA Mid-South World Heavyweight Title Match Dingo vs. B-Boy Dingo has been one helluva fighting champion and one that has taken on all comers. He wants nothing more than to be recognized by all IWA fans as being the greatest IWA heavyweight champion of all time. He has taken on numerous challenges from Jimmy Jacobs, Drake Younger and Sami Callihan and he has also survived the likes of Masada. Now Dingo has his eyes on one of the hardest hitting stars to ever step into an IWA Mid-South ring. The Real Muthaf*ckin G, B-Boy is ready to wear the gold in the IWA Mid-South and if it takes striking down Dingo with lethal force then that is what he is willing to do. This one is going to be a showdown of epic proportions and I fully expect some teeth to be jarred loose in this one! I Quit Barbed Wire Match The Hooligans vs. The Bad Breed The Hooligans joined IWA Mid-South courtesy of their performance at the first tryout show. They have been a thorn in Ian Rotten's side ever since. The Hooligans knew the quickest way to make an impact and the quickest way to make a name for themselves was by going through Ian Rotten. The feud has spanned shows in both Joliet and Bellevue but the main onus of the feud so far has been in the Bellevue area. Ian made a phone call and called in his older brother and mentor, Axl Rotten to reform one of the most hardcore tag teams in the history of wrestling to help fight off the new kids on the block that want to ascend to that mantle. Ian and Axl refuse to be used as stepping stones as they feel they still have a lot more left in the tank than to be turned into that. The Hooligans are young enough and arrogant enough to think that they can pull off that feat. After choking out Axl with a double team chokeout with the use of a leather belt while Ian was choked out and tied to the ringpost with a belt and forced to watch Axl's arm drop for the third time, the decision was made for what has to come next. I Quit in barbed wire. Are the Bad Breed as good as they once were or will The Hooligans prove themselves to be the lead dogs in IWA Mid-South? First Blood Match Mickie Knuckles vs. Rain These two are among the top female wrestlers in the country and they just don't like each other. This feud has been simmering since their knock down drag out fights back in 2005 and it has heated back up in 2009. There have been a couple of big fights between them already this year in Bellevue and the last time it was involvement by the Hooligans that led Rain to victory. There is nothing that Rain takes more pride in than her beauty and this time Mickie Knuckles is out to take that away from her by making her bleed! No Time Limit No DQ Juice Robinson vs. Ryan Phoenix These two young kids have battled twice now in Bellevue, Illinois to time limit draws. The first time out, it was a 10 minute time limit draw with no one in clear control as time expired. At March Massacre, they had a rematch with a 15 minute time limit (5 more minutes anyone?) and this time, it was Ryan Phoenix, the hometown favorite that was definitely in control as time expired. He had worked over Juice's back the majority of the match and had the Texas Cloverleaf locked in for the final 90 seconds of the match but Juice was just able to hold on long enough for the time limit to expire. These two want to prove themselves as the future of the light heavyweight division in IWA Mid-South and must prove to themselves and to the fans which one is the better man and in the driver's seat for being given the chance to elevate to the next level. Phoenix has the experience advantage and the home field advantage but Juice has the athleticism advantage and the determination to overcome the odds that are stacked against him. Who will come out on top and start climbing that ladder that Delirious, Matt Sydal, Jimmy Jacobs, Josh Raymond, Jason Hades, Quick Carter Gray and so many others have climbed in the past several years? US Patriotism Grudge Match Prince Mustafa Ali vs. Corporal Robinson Prince Mustafa Ali has proven himself a very worthy foe for everyone that he has stepped into the ring with in IWA Mid-South. He angers the fans with his anti-American diatribes and beliefs while yet basking in the very freedoms and opportunities that this country gives him. He couldn't speak out like this against the governments of the Middle East if he still lived in that region of the world and now it is time that he faces the music. He has burned Egotistico Fantastico with a fireball and had several tremendous matches against Jason Hades. No one denies his ability, it is just his attitude that sucks. After trying to burn the American flag in Bellevue at March Massacre, Ian Rotten had seen enough and made a phone call. Ali was good enough that night to defeat Mickie Knuckles and get away with his unpatriotic antics but at April Bloodshowers, he will have to step into the ring with a 2 time King of the Death Matches winner and more importantly a former United States Marine. Corporal Robinson is an IWA Mid-South legend and the only thing that he loves as much as God, Family and IWA Mid-South Wrestling is his country. Prince Mustafa Ali is going to have to bring his A game or else Corporal Robinson is going to make him fear what he doesn't understand and hate what he can't conquer...BITCH! Just added to this match...if Dingo retains the title against B-Boy, then the winner of this match will face Dingo for the IWA Mid-South World Heavyweight Title the following night in Joliet, IL. If B-Boy wins, the B-Boy vs. Kingston match will be for the title! Battle of the Big Men For a Spot in the 2009 TPI Jon Moxley vs. DJ Hyde vs. Michael Elgin vs. Keith Walker Six Man Tag...Winning Team Then Faces Each Other in 3 Way for a spot in 2009 TPI Quick Carter Gray/Sabian/Chuck Taylor vs. Jason Hades/Ricochet/Shane Hollister Bill The Butcher vs. Hunter Matthews For those that will ask, Eddie Kingston is not on this event. Joliet will become the battleground once again for these two sides...whatever remains of them from the previous night's battles. Whoever comes out of the April 3rd show with the least amount of damage is sure to have the edge in this one. Battle of the Big Men Michael Elgin vs. Keith Walker These two will be continuing their fight from the previous night's showdown in Bellevue here. One of these two men could be riding high from a victory in Bellevue that puts them into the TPI OR they could be the two biggest men in IWA super pissed off about losing a spot in the 2009 TPI and ready to take it out on each other. Bill the Butcher vs. DJ Hyde Ladies and gentlemen, we may have a riot on our hands. The IWA fans may be up in arms if DJ Hyde wins in Bellevue and gets into the 2009 TPI. They might take a collection to give to Bill to try to destroy DJ and make him physically unable to perform in the TPI. Battle of the Light Heavyweights Egotistico Fantastico vs. Sabian For those that will be asking, Jon Moxley, Chuck Taylor & Shane Hollister will NOT be on this event.
