Hi all. We are refurbishing our boat this winter and we are eagerly awaiting spring this year.  We intend to register the ownesship of our boat and for that we need to ducument the hull number and year.  We have thought it to be hull # 21 from 1980, but recently it came up that we might have # 18.  Is it marked somewhere in the boat? Do any of you know of a register or know of somone who might have knowledge that could help us?

On Firefly there was no hull number marked but we got it from the the first owner. I suspect the numbers are not marked, and you may have to give your best guess or no hull number.

She looks very beautiful.

Hi all,

I have also tried to find a hull number of my IW40.

We could try to figure out the hull numbers by using the engine numbers as a reference.
This of course is only relevant if you still have the original engine or know the number of the original engine.
The first yacht was built in 1975 and the last one in the mid 80s in Norway.
When the wharf closed in 1981 the plugs were sold to Norway.
I believe that 33 or 35 hulls were made in total.

To Gunnar& Nina,
I do agree with Leo, she´s a beauty!
