Translating "Publisher Partner Update" - Adsense - Job # 329016

Hi,

I'm translating now AdSense Insider and I have two questions:

1. I think that we should use the plural second person form in such publications (in other words, קראו and not קרא, etc.). Am I right?

2. Does "Publisher Partner Update" have a Hebrew name? I couldn't find any reference of it.

Hi,

1. if this is a Marketing project, please use the plural form, but don't overuse verbs which are not commonly used this way.
for example:  instead of "קראו" you can write "תוכלו לקרוא" or some other phrasing.

2. Regarding "Publisher Partner Update" - there is no such term in the glossary.
If this is a new feature, please leave it in EN for now.

If this is something else - please translate it according to the context.

If the term is not clear - please file a query in QM and assign it to the LPM, as a Source query.

Hi Liath,

This was the answer given to another translator's query asking if it's an official name:

I'm not sure I have an alternative. Whatever way we normally translate the word publisher and partner, I'd stick to that. If the word update is the problem, then maybe translate to the word 'news'.

Not very clear, is it?
