Older Adult Block Party on September 9th!

You’re invited to a block party for older adults, September 9th, noon - 2pm in Dupont Circle. If you’re over 55, love block parties, and want to discuss safe transportation in DC, this event is for you!
We will gather on the western side of Dupont Circle at noon, when we'll be celebrating our community and facilitating a conversation with older adults about traffic safety when walking, biking, and driving. We also are looking forward to hearing from residents about their concerns and desires regarding street safety in DC.
Throughout the program, we will have a chance to hear from transportation professionals and community leaders.
This is an informal and free event. There will be food, music, drinks, trivia, a speaker agenda, and a shaded seating area. We just ask that you RSVP to let us know you are coming. If you prefer to RSVP by email or phone, you can email sarah.h...@waba.org or call 240-202-4110.
Come chat, eat (we will provide the food and drinks!), learn, and share your thoughts on transportation in our area.
