MAY 11th: COMMUNITY MEETING to re-establish the Ivy City Civic Association [Meet Neighbors and Businesses]

Hi everyone!! 

Given a lot of interest from neighbors and businesses to meet and get to know each other better, this will be the first meeting of the Ivy City Civic Association. We will have no political agenda and we will be meeting to help each other and find ways to better our community.

We will bring together residents, and businesses to create a forum for participation and we will work together on behalf of the community and all of our interests. We will be able to fundraise and give back to our neighbors by creating this membership and support network for our community. Before we are "official" we will need a small group to volunteer to help draft bylaws, design an election process for officers, and develop a survey we can distribute to understand how we can best help our neighbors.

We will be announcing the location to host the meeting in-person (and if interested can stream over Zoom) and will follow-up with that information soon. If you have questions or would like to host this first meeting, please reach out to ivycitycivi...@gmail.com.
