New Orleans trip

Hey everyone! for those of you who went to the meeting last night, you heard that we need to decide soon who is going to New Orleans over spring break. However, I got an email today saying that they want to know tomorrow a general idea of who is interested. you don’t have to completely commit to going, but please let me know if you are thinking about it. Because we don’t have a staff member, we are technically not allowed to go there, so Val is working on coordinating us with another small group so that we will have a full time staff leader for the trip. For this reason, we need to help her out by telling her an exact number of how many people are going by the end of thanksgiving break. So if your considering it, send me an email by tomorrow, then go home for break and think about it, pray, talk to your family, etc. If you decide to definitely go I need to know by the end of thanksgiving break. If you do not commit to it by the end of break, you may or may not be able to go! so please let me know ASAP if you are planning on coming.

 

another reason we need to know is because I have to apply for funding. The trip will cost about $400 a person, so we are hoping uconn will pay the full amount to send us there. this means we need to apply soon so they have time to process and think about it. it takes a lot of work to go through the funding process, and even more work if we don’t know who is actually coming! so please let me know ASAP! The ultimate goal is for you to be able to go for free. don’t let money be an aspect in your decision, because if all goes well, you will not have to pay anything.
