Shane Claiborne in Hartford this Sunday Night -- Great Event for Christians and others interested in "Revolution"

Hey guys,
My friends at Hartford City Mission are sponsoring the "Jesus for President" book tour of Shane Claiborne, an engaging speaker/activist that is challenging the way American Christians view themselves and their world, while causing skeptical folks to wonder about what this crazy dude is doing! If you're like me, Claiborne's writing gives great hope for God's ability to creatively work among ordinary people, and also challenges my own assumptions about a "normal lifestyle" and the American Dream.
Unfortunately I cannot attend the event (prep for marriage class with Anne), but I would encourage those of who who live in CT/MA/RI to make the trip to Hartford and get to know one of the leading voices of Christians for our generation. Personally, I don't agree with everything he says, but that makes him someone I can learn from all the more. If you live in NY/NJ, Shane will be speaking in NYC on this Saturday night.
Wherever you are, go to "www dot JesusforPresident dot org" and prepare to be challenged by uncomfortable truth and beauty.
