World Wide Panorama - The International Year of Forests

You may have noticed the WWP events going on each quarter, but never managed to do your shooting in the time prescribed. Or you may not be inspired by some of the themes.
Well, here is your chance to participate in a special project. UNESCO has declared "The International Year of Forests - 2011" and the WWP is opening up for submissions on that theme, shot anytime this year.
You can submit up to four VR panoramas for this event, as long as they are significantly different (we are going to be strict about this). The server will be open for upload of images and input of text four times a year, during the regular quarterly events. The usual standards for complete documentation will apply and all submissions must be approved by the event coordinators.
Our hope is to compile a useful archive of environmental images that can be used by schools and referenced by other sites. Research the forests you are documenting so you can include good solid information in the captions.
Please consider how you can contribute to this project. We are hoping for an international representation and portrayal of many forest types, and people in relation to forests.
