הודעה מהרב רות לגבי קריאת מגילה השנה

חודש טוב,

קריאת מגילה, הערבית המוזיקלית המצחיקה ושלל שטויות ערב פורים היו במשך השנים האחרונות חלק בלתי נפרד ממה שנאוה תהילה מציעה. נודה על האמת, לא כולם מתחברים לרוח השטות של פורים, ויש הרבה מהקבועים שלנו שלא הגיעו, אך יש גם כאלה שמגיעים רק לפורים או שממש מחכים לו.

נאוה תהילה היא, בעיקרה, מרחב של התנסות ברעיונות מקוריים לחידוש תפילה בציבור, מוזיקה, לימוד ותרבות יהודית. מה שקורה בתוך גבולות נאוה תהילה בעשרים השנה לקיומנו ,הוא יזמות של הצוות המוביל וקבוצה של שותפים לעניין שמשקיעים זמן, התלהבות והתנדבות כדי ליצור את החוויות הקהילתיות שלנו. פורים היה תמיד ה"קטע" שלי. דפנה ויואל, שהיו שותפיי להובלה וליצירת קבלות השבת והחגים, פחות התחברו לפורים, אך בנדיבותם הם נתנו לי רוח גבית. בפועל אני הייתי הקטר שהובילה, יצרה, הפיקה וארגנה את פורים, ובכל שנה גייסתי סביבי מוזיקאים צעירים, רובם תלמידי רבנות מחו"ל (וחלקם בני משפחתי, שבאו לתמוך באמם) כדי ליצור משהו משעשע.

השנה אני בשנת אבל על אבי ז"ל, בנוסף על כובד המלחמה, ואיני מוצאת בליבי את הכוחות והרצון ליצור משהו קהילתי עבור פורים.

אנחנו עכשיו בתקופה של שינויים בנאוה תהילה, הצוות המוזיקלי המוביל כבר השתנה והצוות החדש מוביל קבלות שבת נהדרות, שממשיכות וימשיכו להתקיים באופן קבוע פעם בחודש. כפי שסיפרתי לקהילה לפני כשנה, גם אני מתחילה לדמיין את פרישתי בשנים הקרובות. יש לנו צוות חשיבה בנאוה תהילה שיושב ומשרטט את תהליכי השינוי הבאים עלינו לטובה, ממפה ומשוחח עם הכוחות העולים מן השטח, שייקחו על עצמם את היצירתיות וההובלה בעתיד. התפתחות שממש קורה עכשיו היא בתחום הפעילות הבינלאומית של נאוה תהילה: חידוש המסעות של המוזיקאים שלנו לקהילות יהודיות בחו"ל, והפעם עם הצוות החדש! אני מצרפת לכם בהמשך את המייל שיצא לקהילה הבינלאומית שלנו (שלה רשימת תפוצה נפרדת) בנושא זה.

אז... שלום לערב פורים כפי שהיה עד עכשיו, ובעתיד ודאי יתעוררו רעיונות יצירתיים חדשים להפיח בו חיים. בחודשים הקרובים אנחנו מצפים להבלחות של דברים חדשים ויצירתיים שעוד לא היו לנו, גם פה בקהילתנו הירושלמית, אז צפו להודעות, ובכל מקרה נתראה בקבלת השבת הבאה, כ"א באדר, 21 במרץ, במשכננו הקבוע באולם שפיצר.

Our creativity and experimentation continue to flourish alongside our beloved musical Kabbalat Shabbat services. US and Canada Tours 2025 One of Nava Tehila's greatest strengths has always been our deep connection with the Jewish community in the diaspora. Our new leadership is thrilled to announce a series of US and Canada Tours for 2025! We'll bring you our cherished Musical Kabbalat Shabbat experience plus exciting new offerings including: Shabbat morning services Havdalah concerts Chant circle evenings Neo-Hasidic Tisch Children's musical activities And more! This April, we're launching our first USA and Canada Tour featuring Rabba Nava, Dov Weider, Yaara Semina, and Yoni Batat, The Nava Tehila Jerusalem Band! We will offer a Shabbaton in Adath Israel Toronto: Musical Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday, April 4, and Melave Malka Concert on Saturday, April 5.
