TCS World 10K Run is just 5 days awayJ Me and 20,000 + people are all set to Run for fun and 1,000s of them are all set to Run for various Social Developmental Issues. Few groups spreading message of Social cause through Costume competition, many of them through slogans, T Shirts, banners... 15 Volunteers from iVolunteer too are all setJ For those already registered and willing to join we are meeting at iVolunteer at 10.30 amJ

22 donors have helped me raise Rupees 74,377 for 18 out of 20 NGOs I am running for this year in TCS World 10K Run on May 19th.... Thank you so much to 22 donors because of whom I am able to support Education of 8 Girl Children, fulfil 6 wishes of Children suffering from life threatening illness, Support Cancer Hospice Home in small little way, support human rights, elderly and autism in a small little way, support training of Hearing Impaired and Visually Challenged in a small little way.... WowJ Now how I wish more of above can happen and I am sure it will..... Feels “super cool”, “great” “proud” to see that have worked closely with 20 NGOs out of 97 registered for Sunfeast World 10K Run/ Marathon... I am running for 19 NGOs to show my consistency towards various causes dear to me and towards which I have been contributing my bit for past 9 years. I am participating in Run solely with an intention to make thousands of people aware about various Social sector issues and how few like minded people are trying to bring the change. I have chosen NGOs with whom I have volunteered atleast to some extent in past and who are doing excellent work, are in need of funds to sustain the organisation and can utilise the money “You” donated to the bestJ My sincere request to please spare some time, read my appeal page, read about organisation, choose the one you like and please contribute your bit wholeheartedlyJ Thanks sooooooo much from all beneficiaries who would enjoy benefit of funds donated, all NGO staff members who run the show and from me for supporting a good causeJ Thank You!!! Time for me to get some galis and get some praise as TCS World 10K Run is here and I am running for NGOs I have volunteered for in past and are in need of funds and are registered for Run... Started writing appeal pages (finished 11, many more to go), went back to mast memorable time:) Now time for spamming on Networking sites and emails... So... Sooo... many galis/curses, many appreciations and many people coming forward to support by donating and doing their bit in whatever capacity possible... Which category you fall in???:) Would be super haaapppy to see many in last category of doing Ur bit and giving back to the society:)
Last year because of support from many of you, there were many beneficiaries who could avail lot of good facilities like education, fulfillment of wishes, care taking of terminally ill, inclusiveness for disabled, training for Blind and Hearing Impaired, awareness of basic human rights, etc etc manyyy more.... Help iVolunteer work with young people through its India Fellow program
I am running for iVolunteer to show my consistency towards various causes dear to me and towards which I have been contributing my bit for past 9 years. I am participating in Run solely with an intention to make thousands of people aware about various Volunteering opportunities which are available under one umbrella named iVolunteer and to raise funds for my organisation and invest the same in productive projects like Refurbishing an organisation/Government school (library set up, basic needs availability, painting of school etc).
Through my run I want to also bring focus to the India Fellow program that iVolunteer is starting which aims to work with young people and build them into social leaders of tomorrow.
We believe that In each and every sector, India needs talented young leaders who have had deep exposure to India’s broader realities, who understand the challenges and opportunities presented in diverse environments, and who have the skills and determination to discover and implement innovative ideas. Fellowship programme will give them exposure to One year immersion with organisations working on social change through leadership training throughout the program. The India Fellows program will develop skills, perspectives and empathy of the Fellows so that they approach their future path with passion and purpose... We will need minimum of Rs 2,50,000/- to launch the same. Hope through support from many of you this will be achieved...
Very important PS: Pls note iVolunteer is a social enterprise but we will not be in a position to give you 80G receipts, so this won’t be the right place if you are looking for Tax benefits, but a right place if you are looking for Social development and Inclusive growth... You won’t be able to donate online on TCS Run site here but if interested to support the India fellow Programme you may do an online donation with message “IF Prarthana Run”
