Hi!  I am having difficulty with the bounds statement.  I have 2 variables: Sex & RiskGrp.  When sex=1 then riskgrp can be any of the 4 categorical options; when sex=2 then riskgrp can only ="2" or "4".  This is the statement I wrote:

BOUNDS riskcat(=2, =4) birtgen(=2);

Error: BOUNDS syntax error 'cat(=2, '

Why am I getting the error message?  How should the bounds statement be written?

Thanks for your help!

Bounds are currently applied only to continuous variable. You may want impute separately by gender.
