Will IVEware run on SAS 9.4?  I have a 64-bit machine running Windows 7.

If the answer is "yes", then I would also like to know what the relevant SAS.EXE file would be.  My installation did not involve SASFoundation; instead the installation was made to "SASHome2".

Finally, what specifically should I append to that .exe file?  Presumably, some analog to the "C:\Program Files\SAS\SASFoundation\9.2" text that is given in the IVEware Version 0.2 Users Guide.

Thanks.

Dear Dennis,

IVEware runs on SAS 9.4 with Windows 7. I use it myself. The SAS part of our documentation is out of date. We need to update it. Here are the locations I have for SAS 9.3 and 9.4.
C:\Program Files\SASHome\SASFoundation\9.3\sas.exe
C:\Program Files\SASHome2\SASFoundation\9.4\sas.exe
Peter

Dear Peter and Dennis,

I have problems running IVEware on my Windows 7 64-bit PC. I appended to the system variables path : C:\Program Files\SASHome\SASFoundation\9.4

Previously I included the sas.exe in the pathname by mistake and upon trying to run the IMPUTE procedure, nothing happened (no subfolders or files appeared). After removing the "sas.exe" from the path, I uninstalled IVEware and reinstalled it, and then re-ran the same script using the same file test.7bdat in the ive21_user.pdf example. This time there was a subfolder with today's date and time under the output folder, but the only files were setup.log and setup.sas. According to the ive21_user.pdf, there should be more files and 2 imputed datasets under the folder dataout. The log file shows only that I had started up SAS and does not show any of the impute syntax from the script file, and setup.sas is blank. I would appreciate your help with solving this problem.

Thanks,
Mei Yi
