Greetings!

Thank you for joining this list. We can now send messages to the
entire list, not just forward through me. However, please be sure
you mean to email the entire list and not just an individual when you
hit that 'reply' button! Now we just need more members on this list
and in the troupe...

Zsof and I attended the fair in Louisville, Ohio (pronounced
"LEWIS-ville" I guess) to help demo commedia after being invited by
the Marche of Alderford which was doing an SCA demo. It wasn't the
best attended demo by newcomers and spectators but it was a good day
and we were happy we did it and helped out Alderford. We also came
up with a nifty new project that should help us entertain at demos -
more on that in the near future.

Now we must decide what our next big goal is. The Marche of
Gwyntarian is hosting the Road to Alexandria event on Saturday,
November 1 in Stow Ohio - so very close to Zsof's home where we've
been rehearsing. The biggest problems are that it's coming up
quickly and Zsof would be unable to attend a performance if we did it
there. However, given how close to Cleveland this event is, I may be
able to get some of the CWRU players to join us. I'll ask them at
tonight's meeting.

One possibility to handle our currently low number of actors is to
find / create a few very short plays with minimum actors. We could
switch off on what parts we play and obtain experience in new
Masks. These short plays could end up good for demo purposes as well
- but the goal here would be a complete play with an ending and not
just a scene to demonstrate. It's also possible that some of our
demo work could be used for entertainment at SCA events.

So, our current question - do we wish to do the Gwyntarian event on
November 1st? Who is available? What do people think of working two
or three 5 to 10 minute plays with a few different characters in each?

I'm available for Nov 1st Road to Alexandria!
I like the idea of keeping a few short plays/scenes around to do at a moment's notice.
