I just want to remind everyone else (as I did earlier in my original post) that if you have a Smart TV you can download the Xfinity app directly to your set, and you won't have the audio lag. This bypasses the ROKU box . . . not an ideal solution, but it does work. It needs to be said . . . EVERY other streaming service works perfectly on ROKU . . . except Xfinity. It's not Roku folks . . . it's Xfinity!

I am wondering if xfinity is down or if they have removed access to all the recodrings from the DVR. In my updated xfinity stream app it states that my recordings file is empty. When I go to my TV and look at the recordings I have 45 and at 32%. Even when I log into the website to stream all of the recordings are not showing up. Note, this is a new issue. I was able to watch my recordings as of last thursday. Any advise? I have already deleted and reloaded the app. reset my Ipad. Tried it on the Iphone and on the website.

I'm having the same issue, all recording are on the DVR and can watch and access from any TV that has a box throught the house. But when I try to access the recording from iphone/ipad (with either xfinity app or website) says recording file is empty, same on PC. Was working fine as of Jan 15. I am able to watch live tv on the devices with no issue.

Up until yesterday everything was working fine on everything. Nothing changed on my end, other than if the app was upgraded through apple, but that wouldn't effect the website for streaming recordings.

I just deleted all but 2 of the games. I also went into the deleted file and permently delted them. It did not change anything. No additonal recordings are showing up on the streaming app or on xfinity streaming.

have you recorded something since then? (test by doing a few hot recordings where you tune to a channel on the X1 set top box and press 'record' button. are they recording on the stream app 'live'? can you play them while in process of being recorded on a smart phone/tablet while connected to your own home wifi?

My Xfinity streaming TV video has no audio. The picture is fine and navigation is fine. My laptop audio does work because I've gone on to YouTube and Vimeo and the sound on those videos are fine. When I stream Xfinity TV from my Fire Table and iPhone 7 it also works fine. But for some reason while I do have audio with my laptop it's just not working for the Xfinity streaming.

Addendum:

Also I turned off Bluetooth and it's still not working. Curiously I paired Bluetooth with my Air Pods and I still didn't get audio with Xfinity streaming but I did hear YouTube videos.

There is an issue in a database. call 800-Comcast, select tech support for cable TV. ask the agent to transfer you to the app support team. ask the team member to reprovision your streaming device entitlements. if someone talks about sending a hit to your home equipment they do not understand. this is for app/streaming website. if the team member seems confused ask for a supervisor.

Log on to your app click the 3 lines in the top left corner, scroll to the bottom select xfinity stream, scroll to the bottom, double tap the version, click clear device - specific settings. This will log you out and clear everything. When you go to login, if you phone / tablet saves your info like it does mine select sign in as someone else and manualy enter your information.

Omar - Can you please reread the question and provide a solution? We are not having "app" problems. We are having problems streaming using our browsers on Mac. I have tried Safari AND Chrome and still no luck.

I fixed my issue with Xfinity stream. I deleted the app from my iPad. Cleared cache/web history from Safari. Turn off the iPad, then back on and reinstalled the app. At sign-in, the correct sign-in website was shown, and I logged in without further issues.

I tried again yesterday and this worked. On Safari, I went to Xfinity.com, to the home page. On the top bar, next to the cart there is a button with a user face, after pressing it, it shows a menu of items. At the bottom there is a choice of "Watch TV Online." After selecting that, the stream activated. You can log in to your account there.

I was finally able to access Xfinity stream from my Chrome browser on my 2020 Macbook Air M1. I went to site settings, privacy and security, cookies and other site data, and turned on "Clear cookies and site data when you close all windows." This is the only solution that has worked for now.

Try signing into the xfinity website first. Then click on "TV and Streaming" at the top of the screen. Find "Never miss a moment of your favorite shows and movies Watch online" towards the bottom of the screen and click on it. Finally, click on "Watch online" next to Download the app.

Try clicking the lock icon next to the xfinity.com/stream web address and then click on site setting and clear your usage data. Then refresh the page again and see if it lets you re log-in. This worked for my imac.

Is anyone else having a problem with Xfinity Stream freezing? Our issue began yesterday afternoon. It first started where we couldn't load the Xfinity app at all. Then a couple of hours later we could load the app. Then after we were watching anywhere from 15-30 minutes it would freeze. After about a minute it would then go back to the home screen and we could use the remote. I thought the streaming stick was overheating, but since it is continuing we now know that is not the case. I restarted the Roku 4K streaming stick, restarted the wifi and internet router this morning as it was still doing it. After that we loaded the app and within 5 minutes it froze again. So our next trouble shooting was to switch to the Pluto app. We were able to watch it with no issues.
