FRIDAY, MARCH 18: PARTY FOR RECOVERY!
An evening of live music, delicious food, and social empowerment. Come support Operation Recovery: Stop the Deployment of Traumatized Troops, a veteran-led campaign to win the right to heal.
Friday, March 18, join Iraq Veterans Against the War and Civilian Soldier Alliance and Military Families Speak Out for an evening of live music, delicious food, and social empowerment at the newly opened Ras Hall.

This is an ALL AGES event.
Enjoy delicious Caribbean and Ethiopian cuisine and a full bar including drink specials. A portion of the proceeds goes to IVAW, CivSol, and MFSO.

5-8pm: MOVE THE MONEY, SAVE OUR COMMUNITIES FORUM
@ Luther Place Memorial Church, 1226 Vermont Ave NW
"Move the Money, Save Our Communities" is a public forum exploring the effects of our over-inflated military budget on our local communities. Hear from organizers and experts from DC on how the economic crisis is impacting the city. Check out the Washington Peace Center calendar for more info:

8-10pm: SOUNDTRACK FOR REFUSAL CD RELEASE SHOW
@ Luther Place Memorial Church, 1226 Vermont Ave NW
Concert featuring Ryan Harvey, Spoonboy, and Jubilee. Celebrate the release of SOUNDTRACK FOR REFUSAL, a benefit CD for Civilian-Soldier Alliance featuring mainstream and underground musicians such as Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, Anti-Flag, Strike Anywhere, and more.
