So the driver software you can install from TP link technically works ( -link.com/ca/support/download/ub400/#Driver), but let be honest it is very slow. Audio output to my bluetooth headphones is constatanly out of sync by 1-2 seconds at worst. The real problem with the TP-Link's driver software is that it can only pair with one device at a time, and the pairing process is forced to have to connect only using the bluetooth icon in the taskbar.

Despite the fact that I'm using the specified Bluetooth module port, Windows 10 doesn't recognize it as a Bluetooth radio, just as another USB device, and I'm stuck with the installed drivers' annoying menus, and a hole in my action center:

This is what I have discovered from experimenting over a long time - for windows GUI Bluetooth features to activate, there cannot be any other installed drivers or interfaces. For me in my case, windows didn't active the features until I had uninstalled the stock drivers (CSR Wireless Stack). Basically, Windows needs to be using the "Generic Bluetooth Radio" drivers for the features to be activated.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled it (Multiple times, multiple restarts) I have tried disabling signatures in startups as someone had suggested, and I have ensured all windows updates are applied and used Intels own " Intel Driver & Support Assistant" and it says it's all up to date as well. Repairing the driver did nothing either. I tried installing an older driver, still same issue. (No I don't have system restore enabled.. unfortunately, and wouldn't know how far back I would have had to go but it did only start today)

I have a "Trust bluetooth adapter" that i bought to use on my computer. When connecting it to my windows 11 Pc i get the message "driver issue". The adapter itself does not need any drivers and it works without any problems on my old windows 10 pc. I have tried to update the drivers in many ways but whatever i do it never solves the problem. And as i said on my windows 10 pc it was ready to go 15 seconds after i plugged it in so its seems to be a problem with my windows 11 pc.

With Windows, a Bluetooth radio can be packaged as an external dongle or embedded inside a computer but it must be connected to one of the computer's USB ports. The Bluetooth stack that is included with Windows 7 and Windows Vista does not support Bluetooth radio connections over PCI, I2C, serial, Secure Digital I/O (SDIO), CompactFlash, or PC Card interfaces. In Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, radios connected over alternate transports can be added via a third-party bus driver. Refer to the Extensible Transport sections of the Bluetooth Devices Reference for more information.

Another strange thing: the adapter is not only called "Generic Bluetooth Adapter" but it is in fact a generic Microsoft bluetooth driver and not an Intel driver! However the Bluetooth audio driver is the correct driver by Intel.

Does the v.17 driver package not include a driver for Wireless-N 2230 cards?? It makes no difference if I upgrade directly from v3 to v17 drivers (without uninstalling v3 before) or uninstalling v3 before installing v17 driver. The bluetooth card is always detected as a generic bluetooth adapter using v17...

As you can see in the attached image it is still recognized as generic bluetooth adapter and I cannot connect with my -wireless-headset-pro/ Smart Wireless Headset pro Android-Fernbedienung - Sony Xperia (Deutschland)

As last option from our end, you may try running the _US/support/detect?iid=dc_iduu Intel Driver Update Utility to check if it will allow you to update using the generic driver, however, if this doesn't work, using the driver from the OEM would be the your best option.

I have a MacBook Pro 16 that I purchased in May, 2020, and have been pretty happy with it. My one concern, though, has been with the Bluetooth Radio drivers that Apple provides as part of the Bootcamp package for Windows 10. My use case would be using the Bluetooth radio to pair with my wireless headset so I can use the microphone. The Bluetooth radio only allows the generic Microsoft driver, dated 06/21/2006, to be used, and that does not support the wireless microphone function of any headset I've paired with it. I've tried updating the drivers using the extracted .INF files that come with the Bootcamp driver package (Broadcom), but those drivers don't work, either. What are the steps I need to take to update the Broadcom Bluetooth drivers in Windows 10?

I'm having some trouble trying to play around with bluetooth on my hp laptop (probook 4320s, windows 7 64 bit). I'm guessing that this is a result of icompatible drivers but I just can't figure this out on my own.

Iv'e been fiddling with different drivers from the hp website without any luck. Also, the code works on two non-hp laptops and fails on a different hp laptop (a pavilion type). Iv'e noticed that other laptops only have the bluetooth radios bullet which contains both the native bluetooth device and a Microsoft enumerator device.

Step 4: Under that, if you see a symbol (yellow triangle with an exclamation mark) in front of the generic bluetooth radio driver, then it indicates that there is some issue with it and it can be resolved as per the below described methods.

Once you have confirmed that the generic bluetooth radio driver is having some issue, then you can follow the three outlined options below to download and install the generic bluetooth radio driver for Windows 10.

If all you need is Bluetooth audio, you can connect a Bluetooth USB-Adapter that acts like a sound card. Technically, it will still use a driver, but it will be a generic audio driver that comes with Windows or Mac. No Bluetooth software needs to be installed on the device.

Yes, you can download and install all sorts of drivers including your Bluetooth radio driver from a third-party website. However, doing so might bring different kinds of viruses with it. Also, downloading drivers from an unreliable website will not provide you with genuine drivers for your Windows computer.

If you were earlier having issues with the bluetooth of your Windows 10 computer, then hopefully our methods above were able to help you install the latest version of the generic bluetooth radio driver and deal with the bluetooth problem.

The communication between the host SimpleLink device and the CC26xx has been abstracted away using the Host Controller Interface (HCI) driver layer. The HCI layer allows for a generic and portable interface between the MSP432 and CC26xx, simplifies programming for the end user, and maximizes portability.
