Yeah, the sample apps don't propagate the query string '?r=REL-current'
in their references to CSS, JS, Ajax fragments, etc. I'm not sure if
there is an easy fix for this.

I'm thinking we can use GAE versions to put these up, but I'm not sure
Google intends for that feature to be used like that. For example, I
created this one:

I suppose I could create another application instance for 'current
release' -- I guess we don't have to have all previous releases as
active on-line examples.
