We're reaching out to you as part of the community proposal process that has been instituted by the heads of SIGCHI and SIGART and the IUI conference oversight committee.  If you missed the letter that was sent out about governance shortly before IUI 2013, then you can view the full letter at this link: http://www.sigchi.org/resources/iui-community-announcement

We were asked, as the 2013 chairs of IUI, to produce a proposal for how governance of the conference would continue into the future.  Jihie and I have been working on a proposal and now we've reached a point where we want to share it with others in the community. To facilitate public comment we have created a Google Group where you can post your comments and carry on a conversation about the future of IUI. We hope that you will participate.
