Greetings from VIT's PVP College of Architecture - Pune (PVPCOA)
As discussed with you over the telephonic conversation , the students of 4th year B Arch at PVPCOA are working on a year long studio titled 'Humanizing Hinjewadi' where after studies & documentation of part of Hinjewadi, students are proposing alternative development models which can resolve certain impending issues in Hinjewadi area like Pseudo land use, Safety & Security, Traffic , transportation at local level, social connect between Hinjewadi goathan & IT development & also help evolve typologies of development which can address closely to the socio economic situation there.
In this context, we are proposing a joint workshop along with various organizations, which is proposed to be a ' People's participatory exhibition' in the Public realm on Hinjewadi in early December (proposed dates Thu 7th to Sun 10th Dec).
Please find attached a document giving a brief idea of the workshop and the academic project.
We hope IUDI can come along with PVPCOA in this endeavour .
