Dear All,

I believe most of you are aware that PMC wants to replicate the Sabarmati River Front Development project here in Pune and had invited bids sometime in Aug/Sep 2015. Bimal Patel is one the front runners in bagging this contract. 

I am sharing a detailed note on what was missing in the implementation of the Sabarmati River Front project that is hailed as a success story and has won several awards. The idea behind sharing this note is to generate public debate if there is a need for such a project and can we learn from the mistakes of Ahmedabad and not repeat them in Pune.
