The Institute of Urban Designers India will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary on this Foundation Day - 1st June, 2017. The Institute has contributed effectively in the urban domain at national, regional and local levels over the last decade. IUDI has been providing an inclusive engaging & proactive platform to all the members of the profession & allied partners for generative discourses & actions in our urban environment. It has been our endeavor to bring together the Profession and the Institutions imparting Urban Design Education. Over the years we have been able to partner with various sister organizations, consulates, corporate groups, central, state & local Governments, besides creating an interface with academic communities & developing programs for larger public awareness & engagements. IUDI has organized several events and has collaborated with various institutions to fulfill its objectives.
On this occasion the General Body of the Institute has decided to confer Distinguished Fellowship to Professor Ranjit Sabikhi for his contribution to education & practice of Urban Design in India. Further, it is planned to organize invited lectures by distinguished academicians as a curtain raiser to the proposed International Conference on ‘Culture & Cities’ in February, 2018 which would be followed by dinner at Magnolia Hall, Indian Habitat Center, New Delhi on the June 01, 2017 from 7 pm onwards.

In continuation to our earlier mail dated May 19, 2017, once again this is to inform you that The Institute of Urban Designers India will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary on this Foundation Day on the 1st June 2017.
On this occasion the General Body of the Institute has decided to confer Distinguished Fellowship on Professor Ranjit Sabikhi for his contribution to the education & profession of Urban Design in India. Further, it is planned to organize invited lectures by distinguished academicians and a Panel Discussion as a curtain raiser to the proposed International Conference on ‘Culture of Cities’ in February 2018 which would be followed by Cocktails and Dinner at Magnolia, Indian Habitat Center, New Delhi on the June 01, 2017 from 6.45 pm onwards.
