Hi All,

Amritsar case also is a good idea to be showcased, infact i worked on its concept idea with Darashaw in Hyderabad, before it was given to some Jaipur Firm( i am not sure about it) to finish.
Apart form that , any support required, we would be helpful too from hyd. Good luck.

I was having a chat with Manoj about preparations for the Kollam event. He is working hard at putting what is a complicated event together and hopes to get some idea of timelines firmed up soon.

In the meantime, the search for speakers and presentations is still open. Manoj is planning on 10-12 presentations of 20-25 minutes each on live, in progress or recently completed UD projects. Besides this , there will be a couple of keynote or major speakers. The finalising of speakers and program will be a parallel exercise as both will feed of each other.

Please help with suggestions and follow up on likely speakers. The quicker the better.

I had earlier suggested that we should invite the Karol Bagh pedestrianisation project to be one of the short presentations. Any other ideas ? ideally, we should have a mix of scales of intervention, geographical and cultural distribution and possibly both Govt and private sector funded/managed interventions.

Hoping to hear from you all soon. Im sure manoj will greatly appreciate it if besides suggesting someone, you also help with follow up. I don’t yet know much about the funding of presenters, or even if they will be funded. I am sure manoj is looking at that.
