Dear All,

Dr Bimal Patel will be visiting Hyderabad in March for CEPT alumni meet. taking the advantage, i proposed his office to present his works to students and fraternity as part of CITY TALK s by IUDI hyd chapter. IIA also supported and will jointly organise the talk by Dr Bimal. 

for this, we need to propose schedule to his office with presentation program,  travel options etc. so kindly request all to meet tomorrow evening to discuss the same. 

agenda will be - city talks- program schedule, logistics, venue, funds- local and iudi hq, tickets to Bimal Patel, sponsors etc.

The meeting location either Shiva sir office or Vinod Ganesh sir office.

hi all, the following text is what  Ms Anu has prepared for feb 2 trip. based on this, we may revise our schedule. pls check:

1^st Option:

·        Flight -  Departure 11:00 am and arrival at Hyderabad 1:00 pm

·        Reaching Venue - Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) by 2:00 pm

·        2:00 pm to 3:00 pm – Lunch with senior Alums or some other high profile dignitaries (working on the list with Prof. Srivathsan and Prof. V. Srinivas Chary, Director (Center, Environment , Urban Governance and Infrastructure development) ASCI & alum of CEPT  FP, 1987.

·        3:00 pm to 4:30 pm – Public lecture* by Dr. Bimal Patel  (Open to Alums, students (working with Prof. Srivathsan), ASCI participants ( Working with Prof Chari) and others. Around 200+ participants

·        4:30 pm to 5:00 pm -  Another meeting slot, planning your meeting with Dr. Kavita Darayani Rao, Vice Chancellor of JNAFAU (working with Prof. Srivathsan) – Optional

·        5:00 pm to 7:30 pm – High tea with Alums (around 80 +), open paid bar…and generals interaction

·        8:00 pm – departure to airport, one hour drive, so we reach by 9:00 pm

·        10:15 pm – flight to Ahmedabad and reaching by 12:15 am

 

2^nd Option:

·        Flight -  Departure 2:00 pm and arrival at Hyderabad 4:15 pm

·        Reaching Venue - Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) by 5:00 pm

·        5:30 pm to 7:00 pm – Public lecture* by Dr. Bimal Patel  (Open to Alums, students (working with Prof. Srivathsan), ASCI participants ( Working with Prof Chari, Director (Center, Environment , Urban Governance and Infrastructure development) ASCI & alum of CEPT  FP, 1987.) and others. Around 200+ participants

·        7:15 pm to 8:00 pm – Interaction with senior Alums or some other high profile dignitaries (working on the list with Prof. Srivathsan and Prof. V. Srinivas Chary)

·        8:00 pm onwards – Dinner with Alums (around 80 +), open paid bar…and generals interaction

·        Nigh stay in Hyderabad – Taj Banjara Hills, next to ASCI

·        3^rd morning flight to Ahmedabad, two options : 5:00 am or 8:00 am

Dear All,

Dr Bimal Patel visit to Hyderabad has been confirmed on 23 march 2019. ASCI- TV9 campus seminar hall will be available for us 330-530 pm for iudi- public lecture. approx 200 capacity seminar hall available in that campus. 

travel for Bimal Patel and stay etc is taken care by CEPT office. the complete schedule for the day shall be shared by Anu Sutaria soon.

Seminar hall also is free for us as Mr Chary, ASCI will be taking care of the booking for the public talk and alumni meetup.

so pls respond to meet this week to prepare for the way forward for logistics, invitation, mails, hi tea funds, etc.  pls suggest, date /time/ venue for our meeting.
