Dear Members! 

The days we have been awaiting for all these years have finally come!

It gives me immense pleasure to announce the very first Urban Design National Conference of IUDI to be held in Kollam, Kerala between 20-22 September 2019. On behalf of President Mr. Anuraag Chowfla and all members of the National Council, let me extend our cordial invitation to you for participating in this event.

This is our first national Conference and we are all seriously looking at it as a great inaugural national event. We are not a rich organisation and our strength is our intellectual content and caliber.The profession as such is slowly establishing in our country and there is a need to strengthen our institution to participate and engage is the urban development process of the nation. We, as a profession should reinstate our existence and claim our stake in the process of development. 

The national conference is the first of its kind to discuss this and also to discuss the current scenario of practice. This is also a venue for networking and building up professional relations. The LSGD of Kerala is going to hear and actively engage with us. This will be a new beginning. We have established brotherhood in all states and IUDI is growing. For the first time we are going to see people from all over India coming in for the National conference.

The GBM will discuss the above issues and deliberate on our path ahead, collectively. The agenda for the GBM of the 21st will be circulated shortly.

I urge you all to actively participate and be a part of National Conference.It is a small attempt from our side to bring everyone together. Please find enclosed an introductory brochure for the event. For any further information, please don't hesitate to contact t us.

Without you there is no institution. I know that we are busy working to make our both ends to meet. But I am requesting you to dedicate a small fraction of your time for IUDI and contribute voluntarily for the cause of the Institution.. We need all of you in the process of making IUDI the strongest organization on matters of urban environment and development of our cities. 

This is my humble request to all.
