Homework 5 question 3

Hello everyone

I have a question about homework 5. I am confused at question 3. I think it is very similar to what we did on last term, but I did not understand exactly what to do.

Can someone who understood tell me?

Hi Zeznep,

I didn't quite understand that part of the homework either. But I tried something.I used "seq"  for the "fib_loop" function I wrote above. Then I turned the function and seq into a linear model , I am used lm, plot and abline. But there's something wrong with my solution. I don't quite understand what happened. What do you think about my solution?

I agree with you. First I wanted to see what the graph looks like. It was increasing exponentially. Then I used lm() to find coefficient, but I couldn't adapt it to ggplot() and abline().

I answered the question. I noticed that I made a mistake because I did not use "log" while creating a model.

Hi. Here is a trick to understand better any question (or idea): describe what part you DO understand. Then isolate the parts that are not clear. Are there several ways to interpret them? Which interpretations make more sense?
