itzi shows a message "WARNING: Execution of *.par ended with an error."

Hi,

I ran 2D model solely before, it was successful.

Then I ran the itzi by linking 2D to the 1D drainage network. When it almost finished running, a warning message says, "WARNING: Execution of *.par ended with an error", and there is a binary file namely the combination of swmm and some random characters, e.g. swmmDUWAEH.

I guess the error caused by swmm. My question is:

1. How can I open this file swmmDUWAEH?

2. What may cause the error?

Hi Joe,

This seems to be a SWMM error. Does the same SWMM model works when you run it through SWMM (i.e not itzi)?

Thanks for your reply.

I have run SWMM alone before coupling with Itzi, it can finish over the simulation period.

The SWMM model is very simple, consisting of junctions, conduits and an outfall as the downstream boundary. No hydrology components in the model.
