For those of you who don't know what iTunes updater is, please visit

For the rest of you: welcome!

iTunes updater is a free program for automatically converting MPEG-2
video to your iPod or iPhone. It currently targets recordings from
Beyond TV and Windows Media Center (yes, this program can
automatically put your Media Center recordings on your iPod!). It may
not be the fanciest, the prettiest, or have the most features, but
we're striving to make it the simplest and easiest way to do one job,
and do that job well.

If you want to help, you can help in several different ways:
* You can tell others about us.
* You can help write the program. This program is free open source, so
the source is available for you to patch. For now, I ask you to submit
patches to me, but in the future, I'll allow developers to post
directly to SVN.
* You can Download and test the program, submitting bugs to the issues
page when you find them.
* If you like to write, you can help write a user guide. I'd like to
create a nice PDF user guide so that people can learn how to use the
program without having to figure everything out for themselves.

Please do NOT use this group to file bug reports; there's an issues
page on the Google Code page for that. But please DO discuss ways to
use the program, ways to make it better, or anything else related to
getting your DVR recordings in to your iPod.
