At FIGHTER COMBAT INTERNATIONAL (FCI), customers are led to believe that they can come in off the street--with no flying experience whatsoever--and actually fly the aircraft in Air-to-Air Combat, just like a fighter pilot would. That is indeed TRUE. While some of...

By being the only universal combat capability air unit, it starts with distanced movement and a autocannon, although units with substantial firepower can still overwhelm it, especially units specialized against air.

A multirole combat aircraft (MRCA) is a combat aircraft intended to perform different roles in combat.[1] These roles can include air to air combat, air support, aerial bombing, reconnaissance, electronic warfare, and suppression of air defenses.

Multirole has also been applied to one aircraft with both major roles, a primary air-to-air combat role, and a secondary role like air-to-surface attack. However, those designed with an emphasis on aerial combat are usually regarded as air superiority fighters and usually deployed solely in that role, even though they are theoretically capable of ground attack. The Eurofighter Typhoon and Dassault Rafale are classified as multirole fighters; however the Typhoon is frequently considered an air superiority fighter due to its higher dogfighting prowess while its built-in strike capability has a lighter bomb load compared to contemporaries like the Rafale, which sacrifices air-to-air ability for a heavier payload.[2]

Although the term "multirole aircraft" may be relatively novel, certain airframes in history have proven versatile to multiple roles. In particular, the Junkers Ju 88 was renowned in Germany for being a "jack-of-all-trades", capable of performing as a bomber, dive bomber, night fighter, and so on, much as the British de Havilland Mosquito did as a fast bomber/strike aircraft, reconnaissance, and night fighter. The Hawker Hart was also quite 'multirole' in its numerous variants, being designed as a light bomber but serving as an army cooperation aircraft, a two-seat fighter, a fleet spotter, a fighter-bomber (in fact it was probably the first)[citation needed] and a trainer.

The US joint forces F-4 Phantom II built by McDonnell-Douglas also fits the definition of a multi-role aircraft in its various configurations of the basic airframe design. The various F-4 Phantom II configurations were used in air-to-air, fighter bomber, reconnaissance, and suppression of enemy air defenses (SEAD) mission roles to name a few.

The first use of the term was by the multinational European project named Multi-Role Combat Aircraft, which was formed in 1968 to produce an aircraft capable of tactical strike, aerial reconnaissance, air defense, and maritime roles.[citation needed] The design was aimed to replace a multitude of different types in the cooperating air forces. The project produced the Panavia Tornado, which used the same basic design to undertake a variety of roles, the Tornado IDS (Interdictor/Strike) variant and later the Panavia Tornado ADV (Air Defence Variant). By contrast, the F-15 Eagle which was another fighter aircraft of that era was designed for air superiority and interception, with the mantra "not a pound for air to ground", although the F-15C did have a rarely used secondary ground attack capability. That program eventually evolved into the F-15E Strike Eagle interdictor/strike derivative which retained the air-to-air combat lethality of earlier F-15s.

The newest fighter jet that fits the definition of 'multi-role' is the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II/Joint Strike Fighter, designed to perform stealth-based ground/naval strike, fighter, reconnaissance and electronic warfare roles. Like a modern-day F-4, 3 variants of this aircraft fulfill the various strike and air defense roles among its joint service requirements: the standard variant is intended to eventually replace the F-16 and A-10 in the USAF and other Western air forces, a STOVL version intended to replace the Harrier in US Marine Corps, British Royal Air Force and Royal Navy service, and a carrier variant intended to eventually replace the older F/A-18C/D for the US Navy and other F/A-18 operators. The F-35's design goal can be compared to its larger and more air superiority-focused cousin, the F-22 Raptor.

The State of Qatar signed a contract with Dassault Aviation to acquire 24 Rafale fighters in May 2015. The $7bn contract also includes an option for 12 additional fighters and the option was exercised by Qatar in December 2017. The company started the deliveries, with the first Rafale delivered to the Qatari Emiri Air Force in February 2019.

The first Rafale F3 was delivered to the French Air Force in 2008. In March 2007, three French Air Force and three navy Rafale fighters were deployed in Tajikistan in support of the Nato International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan.

Under the contract, Dassault will supply 126 Rafale fighters. The first 18 fighters will be supplied by 2015 and the rest will be manufactured in India under a technology transfer to Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL). This contract will be the first international supply for Rafale.

The Rafale multirole combat fighter is equipped with an RBE2 passive electronically scanned radar developed by Thales, which has look-down and shoot-down capabilities. The radar can track up to eight targets simultaneously and provides threat identification and prioritisation.

My character for this particular campaign is essentially a retired wrestler based very much on the WWE style of wrestling. She specializes in punches, grapples, and other more close-quarter combat techniques. We have actually pseudo-joked that before she chokeslams people she bellows "Kord! Guide my hand!"

My question, however, is what else can I do to focus this character on unarmed combat and wrestling? Especially when it comes to altering the equipment package because... well, all the weapons are pretty useless.

So the best part about unarmed strikes in combat, is that you can be grappling two people since you have two arms, and you can still attack them with headbutts and kicks. Unarmed strikes are done with any part of your body, and do not require your arms to be free. So, a good thing you can do is grapple targets and then use your unarmed strikes (wrestling moves) to do some serious damage to them.

It is substantially cheaper (less than half the mass cost and less than 3/4 energy cost) and builds slightly faster than the other factions' fighter/bombers' to compensate for its inability to target ground units and slightly lower total health. This means that the Aeon already have a pretty comprehensive fighter net even before investing in ASFs.

One of its only disadvantages is its weapon's blind spot, a radius smaller than its attack radius in which the craft will not fire on enemies. While it may not be apparent when attacking enemy fighters, this blind spot quickly gets annoying when pursuing slower units such as gunships or bombers. Because of its relatively high low-speed, it tends to linger uselessly behind moving bombers and gunships. This is noticeable on the third mission of the campaign if Swift Winds are used to defend from early attacks.

I bought 2 of these replica knives for $9.99 each. The key word here is "replica". If you want or need such a knife for heavy-duty use, spend the money and buy a real Ka-Bar knife. They are OK for the price I paid. They look nice but don't buy them for anything other than display or light duty use. One of the knives I purchased has a loose guard and the butt cap fell off the other one. I re-attached the butt cap with epoxy glue so that should fix it. Also, don't use the butt cap as a hammer like the original combat knives were used. It definitely will break and fall apart!

You get what you pay for. Pros: Good leather stacked handle and pommel cap. Almost identical to genuine ka-bar. Blade shape, length and finish are almost identical to genuine ka-bar Decent edge, could be sharpened a little, but not bad. Cons: Blade thickness is ta little hinner than real ka-bar ( which isn't that thick to start with ) The retaining pin for the pommel cap didn't pass all the way through. Summary: Not a bad blade for $12. Good leather oval shaped handle. Decent blade and sheath. I sincerely doubt that the USMC would licence this model however due to the fit of the pommel pin and gauge of the blade steel. Good camping blade or for hunting. Wouldn't trust my life on it as a combat blade though.

The F-15E, developed in the mid 1980's, is a dual-role fighter designed to perform air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. An array of avionics and electronics systems give the F-15E the capability to fight at low or high altitude, day or night, and in all weather. The F-15E is the USAF's premier strike fighter still in use today.

Our dream is to offer the most authentic and realistic simulation of military aircraft, tanks, ground vehicles and ships possible. This free download includes a vast mission area of the Caucasus region and Black Sea that encompasses much of Georgia. It also includes a flyable Russian Sukhoi Su-25T ground attack aircraft and the famous WWII North American TF-51D fighter. An additional more than two dozen aircraft are available for purchase.
