@raimond - then you must summon @ca_cabotage here like that, and ask him
Yes, I can mod BIOS once you are sure what you want, what microcode, what ME, what other possible actual BIOS module edits are needed etc (This involves more than microcode and ME if I remember correctly) + on top of that, some BIOS settings may need to be made visible to you as well
@Lost_N_BIOS Followed your steps, I got a little excited modified bioreg.bin with UBU to insert microcode then tried to flash with FPTw.exe -bios -f -bios.bin. Result is Error 280: Failed to disable write protection for the BIOS
Apologies for the inverted photos, since it came from my phone.
Would it be better to go the CH341 route for me, I do have one.
@Lost_N_BIOS Sorry for the mess about the first images, anyway will read about your guide posted above.
Hopefully I will be able to have latest bios version with only the said cpu microcode available to have all cores at max turbo.
I replaced the microcode with the one attached to this thread in MMTool and flashed modded bios with FPT. Still no all core turbo boost. Any other suggestions ? Do I need to insert ffs driver or load efi driver the same way people do it for Xeon E5 v3 ?
Please see the attached screenshot.

Motherboard drivers are a kind of software, and therefore they are subject to all the same problems that affect the work of other kindsof programs. Keep in mind that motherboard drivers may also be damaged for various reasons, such as virus-infected,or obsolete as a result of system upgrades or software changes.
Remember that is very important to have exactly the driver that is needed specifically for your hardware motherboard model. Therefore, it is recommended that you search using the motherboard manufacturer name and model number of each motherboard.
Many of us check for updates and drivers habitually, much in the same way as opening a fridge looking for something to eat, despite knowing that we had just checked it an hour ago and the odds are that nothing has changed since then. Why do we do this? Because enthusiasts simply can't wait for the possibility of squeezing out even more performance, compatibility, stability, functionality or maybe even a fresh look or new options in the interface. Sometimes a new update is all you need to take your hardware somewhere it has never gone before, perhaps the 5GHz territory. ASUS has invested a tremendous amount of time and effort in this area so that you can feel as though you have brand new hardware to ticker with all over again. Without further ado, here is the list of new updates this month (some may be released at time of writing so take a look anyway if you can't find yours here):
I am using 2 monitors:First one which is my main monitor is connected via DVI to my videocard and the second one is connected via VGA to the integrated graphics. After installing ubuntu (18.10) I had both monitors working together and properly, but after installing nvidia driver via software & update my main monitor has stopped working and now it's just black screen with blank signal. Changing drivers and manually installing them does not help. The main problem I need help with is to get monitors to work properly, or at least the main one.I tried digging some solutions, but they couldn't solve my problem
