  • January 29: A house on Austin Street was without power; in order to fix it Eversource had to shut down the power on the whole street. Cecily worked with Eversource and Joan to designate a time for the repair that would minimize the inconvenience to residents. The work was completed successfully on January 30.
  • The city has just completed a city-wide homeless census; no homeless were counted in Hyde Park, Roslindale, or West Roxbury.
  • Cecily will invite someone from the city's Streets Cabinet to the next Hyde Park Community Meeting to discuss placement of speed humps. The next meeting will probably be scheduled for early spring; Cecily will send Joan the date when it's available.
  • In response to a question, Cecily will determine whether the route of the 50 bus will be adjusted now that the River Street bridge is open. She also mentioned that the location of the 32 bus turnaround in Cleary Square may be moved closer to the Hyde Park commuter rail station.
  • In response to a question, Cecily will determine what materials speed humps are composed of and let GPN know.

Other Business
The MBTA community liaison will join GPN for the March 3 meeting.

Next meeting is scheduled for March 3, 6:30pm, on Zoom.
