https://www.mbta.com/accessibility/travel-instruction-services-and-toolsQ. Senior card hasn't been used for some time; is it still good?
A. You can transfer the balance of an expired card onto a new one by going online at
https://www.mbta.com/fares/charliecard-and-charlieticket-online-services, calling customer service at
617-222-3200, or visiting the Charlie Service Center at 296 Washington Street (Downtown Crossing).
Q. Anything new on proposal to put all of Boston’s neighborhoods within the MBTA commuter rail’s Zone 1A?
A. (Rep. Consalvo) Sen. MacGregor and I refiled our fare equity bill in January, which Mayor Wu and Sen. Rush also support. We will continue to push hard for this change.
Q. Anything new on the Hyde Park Avenue Multimodal Corridor project?
A. (Cecily Graham) The project is not currently funded, but community meetings were held on the northern end (between Forest Hills and Metropolitan Ave.) in December and the southern end (between Metropolitan Ave. and Wolcott Square) more recently. Cecily will provide updates as they become available. More information on the project and the December meeting is available here:

A. (Ophenir Bazile) She'll check on this and get back to Joan. (A neighbor reported that he was told by his regular bus driver that the route will stay as is. The bus only travels down Austin Street and Summer Street on weekends and after 7pm.)
Police Report: 2/3–3/3/25Assaults: 2/9 Myopia Road [girlfriend/boyfriend dispute]
Robbery, Breaking & Entering, Larceny, Auto Thefts, Vandalism, Ballistics: 0
1/1–1/28/25: E-18 crime is up 16% from the same period in 2024. The large increase in February 2025 compared to February 2024 is due to an increase in auto thefts (from 6 to 8) and larcenies (from 30 to 47) for the month. A habitual shoplifter who had a large impact on the number of larcenies has been arrested.
Q. Although it's only March, problems with loud music have already started. How should we file complaints, and does BPD have a flyer with this information that could be shared with neighbors?
A. Call 911 so BPD has a history of violations for a given address. Also, email addresses associated with violations to
e18...@pd.boston.gov. BPD will issue an ordinance violation as appropriate. BPD will see if they can create a flyer.
